The Broadway Dental Plan has been in place now for 2 years and has worked well providing patients with optimal dental maintenance and discounted fees for treatment procedures. We recently had to increase the membership fees for the first time since inception and have tried to keep the increase to a minimum. Most normal treatment fees have however not increased.

Michael and David both have full appointmentbooks and this has been constant during the recession.

David and Karen have both completed 10 years service at the Broadway Dental Practice, Karen in September 2009 and David in March 2010. Michael is due to complete his 10 year service period at the end of July 2010. David also recently celebrated 30 years of dentistry at the end of June.

During February 2010, David attended a lecture on tooth grinding (bruxism) and treatment of headaches, migrainesand clenching using NTI tss splints (www.nti-tss.com)

All our staff stay up to date with new developments in Dentistry by reading journals and regularly attend lectures as part of Continuing Professional Development as specified by the General Dental Council. Annaca, will be taking her dental nursing exam shortly and then moving on to University where she will be studying music.

Michael and David have both enrolled to take part in a 3 year Continuing Professional Development course which covers a wide spectrum of topics. They both attend regular lectures on Implantology and other topics as part of continuing professional development.

On a more social note : The nursing and reception staff all recently decided to take part in a very serious weight loss program and have together lost a total weight equalling that of one our junior nurses, Annaca. Annaca has now almost disappeared. Obviously, the two very fit and trim dentists and Clare our hygienist did not need to take part in the weight loss program.
